This course focuses on improving knowledge and skill in surface preparation and the appropriate selection of a preparation system. Participants will execute a repair from start to finish in a practical situation.

• Substrate recognition
• Pre-treatment
• Product information
• Sanding technique
• Application of primers and fillers
• Masking techniques
• Spray-gun operation
• Infra red drying

Participants will learn to:
• Identify and prepare the different substrates used on cars
• Select and apply preparation systems and products in a professional and economical way
• Execute an invisible repair with selected products according to Technical Data Sheets
• Select and use appropriate personal protection

Course duration:
This course is held over 3 days, however can be extended to 4 days, to include plastic part training.
