The Car Refinish Instruction Centre (CRIC) located at the Head office in Port Melbourne

was built in 2001.  The million-dollar purpose-built centre is the 60th CRIC on Akzo

Nobel’s global map. 

Equipped with state of the art equipment and tools. The centre also has two training rooms, two spray booths, one down draft and one semi down draft, a mixing room, two dry sanding floors and an adjoining colour room.  The facility has a functional production planning room, complete with planning tools and management IT software.

At CRIC, professionals apply the most advanced painting systems under the supervision of experienced trainers who show them how to obtain better finishes in the shortest time. In addition to product training, we offer planning, material managing, optimizing resources, security and hygiene, among many other topics.
